Determining the Components of Self-Awareness Skill Based on Monotheistic Naturalism and Evaluating the Developed Educational Package for It

Abstract

Introduction and Aim: Considering the culture and religion of Iran, examining self-awareness especially based on monotheistic naturalism is of great importance. Therefore, the present research was conducted with the aim of determining the components of self-awareness skill based on monotheistic naturalism and evaluating the developed educational package for it.

Methodology: This study was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of implementation method. In this research to identify the components was used from research related to the research field up to 1402/2023, which from them number of 27 articles, theses or books were selected as samples using purposive sampling method. Also, in this research to evaluate the developed educational package from the opinions of specialists and experts familiar with the research field were used, which from them number of 8 people were selected as samples using purposive sampling method. To collect data were used from the methods of note-taking from articles, theses or books and survey about the level of agreement of the experts. The data of this research were analyzed using the thematic analysis method to identify the components and the agreement coefficient method to evaluate the developed educational package.

Findings: The findings showed that the components of the self-awareness skill based on monotheistic naturalism had 28 basic themes and 5 organizing themes (including awareness of one's identity, awareness of one's tendencies and needs, awareness of one's interests and feelings, awareness of values ​​and goals, and awareness of one's life plan) in on comprehensive theme titled self-awareness skill based on monotheistic naturalism, which content validity index and content validity ratio of all its basic themes were assessed as desirable. Also, the developed educational package for the components of self-awareness skill based on monotheistic naturalism was designed for 8 sessions of 120 minute, which its content validity index and content validity ratio were assessed as desirable.

Conclusion: According to the results of this research, the developed educational package based on components of self-awareness skill based on monotheistic naturalism can be used by researchers.
